We had a busy day for Year 9 rugby today. The A team travelled to @YarmBoysGames and lost a hard fought cup match and the B team played @ReadSports1 A team, succumbing to the greater physical power of the Read players. Still good to get 2 teams out, even with a few injuries.

Thanks to @Read_School for hosting the rugby this morning. The rain nearly held off!!

Thank you to @BirkdaleSchool @StPsport @GsalSport @RishworthSport @SilcoatesSport @ScarColl @BoothamSchool for coming to the @Tranby_school annual senior 8 a side comp today. Well done to @Read_School who beat Tranby in a thrilling 4-2 final, to be crowned the 2024 winners.

Great to see so many @Tranby_school boys playing football for their school this morning against @Read_School The pitches were a touch ‘heavy’ but wins for the U12 Tranby Tigers and Tranby Pumas (7 goals for Jacob!). 👏👏👏

A great afternoon at @TerringtonHall for the annual Cross Country meet 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Soggy under foot in blustery condition but 36 @Read_School pupils galloped around the Howardian Hills 👌👏

⚽️ at @Read_School It was a great morning of football for 3️⃣ teams as we travelled to @GsalSport along with @RishworthSport for a triangular set of fixtures 👍 Wins, losses and draws with some nice football on display and areas to work on! Well done to all involved 👏 👌🤝

@Read_School Rugby 🏉 Great morning of rugby on Saturday as we hosted @tranbysport & @BirkdaleSport. A fresh one but the sun was shining. 🥶 but 🌞 Close competitive games throughout with approx 1️⃣4️⃣0️⃣ boys playing.👌 Thank you and well done to all involved 👏

@Read_School Rugby 🏉 The U16 squad were in action today as we welcomed @ScarColl_DOS. A tough day at the office for us against a very strong side. All part of sport - nice work Scarbs 🤝

@Read_School Rugby 🏉 The U14/15 squad entertained @ScarColl_DOS this afternoon in Drax. Some important game time for the boys. A tight first half with the game opening up in the second finding gaps and off-loading Well done to all boys involved in a competitive game 👌👏🤝

@Read_School 🏉 The U12/13 squad welcomed @CundallManor over this afternoon for an enjoyable game of rugby. Some tough tackling, great support play along with some nice handling in slippy conditions. All played in a competitive spirit. 👏 Well done to all involved

Read Rugby 🏉 The U16 squad was on the road to take on @tranbysport today! It was a tough game for the green army, but one that showed real togetherness, commitment and effort throughout. 💪 Although losing 36 - 12, there were a large amount of positives to take! 👏👍

Read Rugby 🏉 Today, the U12/13 & U15 teams welcomed @GsalSport this morning. Two closely fought games played in great spirit was a real treat for the spectators. Well done to all players, parents, coaches & referees involved for a super morning 👌

Girls Football ⚽️ Excellent effort today from the mixed U14/15 girls football team. Away at @TheMountSport 👌 0-0 and the team had a great time and it was thoroughly enjoyed........well done to all 🤝
