I’ve see people suggest Kier Starmer is a worse PM than Boris Johnson. Not even slightly. Starmer is just mediocre, a deer caught in the headlights of multiple crises. Johnson was actively malevolent. He tore apart the social fabric of this country in order to depress your wages.

Once HMS Dragon was deployed to the Eastern Mediterranean we were always likely to be unable to fulfil our Standing NATO Maritime Group One commitment next month with HMS Dauntless in Fleet Time Support Period. Now it’s official. The Germans have had to bail us out. I asked the Defence Secretary on 9th March in the chamber if he could guarantee that we will be able to fulfil our commitment to NATO in providing the flagship role, and whether he could guarantee that it would be provided by a British ship? He lied, telling me that “we will always fulfil our NATO commitments”. It doesn’t look like it now does it.

The conspiracy mindset is caused by many things. Social media spreading the theories. Some theories being true. But it's also the result of an increasingly low trust society where people don't even talk to their neighbors, don't trust their own family. Downstream of diversity.
