The ninth-grade class gathered one last time at the year's end to reflect upon their time at Rectory and to think about life after graduation. Before enjoying some pizza, students were invited to write a letter to their future self, which will be given to them in ten years' time.

Mystic Seaport Museum visited last month to guide students through fun and educational activites. Design-A-Mission introduced students to the engineering process behind space exploration missions. In All About Boats, students designed their own small boats. #rectoryschool

This spring, Kara Burke ran a cooking elective in which students had fun creating different recipies. When the group said they really wanted to make tanghulu, a Chinese candied fruit, of course Ms. Burke said yes! "What a fun process!" she commented. #rectoryschool #connecticut

Chef Dave stopped into the Elementary School last month to share a tale about food, part of a new initiative called Book Bites. Chef Dave said, "I look forward to being able to go into the Elementary classroom and interact more with the students there."
