@StretfordPost Keane, Neville, Butt and Scholes seem to hate the club. Former players like Evra, Cantona and Beckham always talk nanotechnology the club and you can hear they love the club still.

I’ve been reluctant to comment this for obvious reasons I witnessed Roy Keane at him prime and I’m old enough to remember what he did for us, so having thought about what I was going to say here’s my opinion, Manchester United legends and current players should be working together in the same way clubs like Bayern Munich have done for years using the standards, experience and winning mentality of the past to help inspire the present. Roy Keane’s achievements at Manchester United speak for themselves. He captained one of the greatest sides in football history, set the standard for leadership, mentality and accountability, and helped deliver the most successful era this football club has ever seen. Those qualities should always be respected and embraced around the club. At the same time, Bruno Fernandes deserves recognition for what he has achieved during one of the most difficult periods in modern United history. Despite instability around him, he has continued to deliver performances, leadership and numbers at a consistently high level while carrying huge responsibility on and off the pitch. Instead of creating a divide between ex-players and current players, the focus should be on collaboration. Strong standards from former legends combined with the hunger and qualities of the current squad can only help Manchester United move forward again. Not every conversation surrounding the club has to become negative. When something positive happens, it should be embraced while also asking how those smaller successes can become the foundation for even greater achievements. Constant division and “us vs them” narratives only damage the atmosphere around the football club and make rebuilding success even harder.

@Malachians I would be happy. I do think we need a LB as well and maybe a Backup GK

If the 3 midfielders Utd sign are Ederson, Tonali and Matheus Fernandes, how are we feeling about that? Personally, I’d be extremely happy at that.

Garnacho after the loss to Arsenal: "I don't regret moving to Chelsea. There are many reasons why Chelsea are better but the main reason is that the seats on Stamford bridge bench are far more comfortable than at Old Trafford!"

@hosang I didnt say Carrick would win the lot. Enrique could well win something, but he will want control and the board aint going to give him that. All the others you mentioned will fail I guarantee that. Carrick understands the past and what it means to wear that shirt.

@RedForever1878 Michael Carrick has two seasons of experience failing to get Boro promoted from the Championship but he’s the only person who will succeed apart from Luis Enrique? Come on now.

The brain rot means we’ll campaign for Carrick to remain over more experienced candidates and then campaign for him to be removed when he regresses and is just a Vibes merchant. “History is a wheel”

🚨🚨| Arsenal and Arteta have ruined football with their set-piece tactics. Allowing players to wrestle and pin the goalkeeper is infuriating to watch... just look at yesterday's match against Everton. It's now routine: attackers block the keeper, stopping them from doing their job. The Premier League needs a clear rule; no offensive players in the six-yard box until after the ball is delivered. That would restore proper defending and goalkeeping instead of this weekly wrestling disaster. Without change, we'll keep seeing sloppy, low-quality goals. Time to end the set-piece exploitation and return to real football. 🥹🙏

@utdHarryy I believe if they get a few extra decent midfielder in, Carrick could take us back to the top. He knows what united is all about.

I like Carrick but he cannot be the permanent manager. The way I look at it is, Carrick is good enough to get us champions league football every season, but he isn’t the guy to lead us back to winning league titles and champions leagues in my opinion. That’s where we need a world class manager

Last night Gary Neville listed his top 10 PL goalkeepers of all time. Ederson, Alisson, Hugo Lloris and Lehmann all made the list, but De Gea didn’t. In fact, Neville couldn’t even complete his list, as he struggled to think of worthy keepers, despite being told De Gea was in Jamie’s list. Dreadful take 🤯

🚨Premier League needs to step in. These corners are getting ridiculous. Arsenal started it, and now the most beautiful football league in the world is turning into rugby. It has to stop.

🚨 Rio Ferdinand: “People hype Raya, I just laugh. I watched De Gea stop a Suarez point-blank volley. That’s not goalkeeping, that’s sorcery. Reflexes, positioning, madness. Put De Gea in Arsenal & he’s collecting Ballon d’Or votes, not sympathy tweets.”

Wayne Rooney tracked back 60 yards in stoppage time, saved a goal, then assisted the winner seconds later. That’s not a highlight. That’s legacy.
