The world would be so much better if the christians realise that the bible was a document written by men to control men and muslims realise at the same time that the Quran was a book written by men to control men. Perhaps then we could move forward as one.

@nightingales2_2 @donmcgowan I remember them last time, i knew what to expect but others who hadn't needed the same experience. Painful but it's now seen the death of both Tories and Labour. Uniparty is done.

@Reform_Kev @donmcgowan i totally agree labour got in on a low vote, now have a weak majority. i didnt vote for them. they had a great opportunity to do the right thing then pissed it up the wall. i think people woke up quickly, problem is the choice isn't there. reform only offer division.

As ever, there is no need to wonder why Labour has attacked the Greens so much harder than Reform over the last weeks. It’s to the Greens their vote is moving. The real question is when they’ll realise they could respond by moving left, not stamping on the left 🤷‍♀️

As Reform sweep the board across much of country, it’s worth noting that they have polled below 30% of the vote. While this is of little comfort for those losing their seats, it reflects the fracturing of British politics and how things can change with small variations

@lowles_nick They are not sweeping the board everywhere. It seems that they are 100% at as the party of the poor uneducated white British working class. That is for sure.

@Reform_Kev @donmcgowan fair enough, yes, reform have done incredibly well so far, congrats, i do think though that Labour basically handed it to them - they've only themselves to blame. i'm betting starmer doubles down now - which is a massive mistake.

The polls have closed I’m angry, upset, disappointed and feel sick by the predictions that Reform will win multiple councils This is an awful day for British politics

@HelenGothel @daniellismore 1. N.I. potential political conflict doesnt mean definite. Collaboration, negotiation and adult conversation. 2. Our trade agreements aren't dependent on ECHR. 3. Yes, more than happy with a balaclava ban. Hoodies a bit more difficult but hoodies arent generally face covering.

@Reform_Kev @daniellismore How would you address the potential political conflict withdrawing from the ECHR would have in N Ireland, & also our Trade agreements? If you are banning the burqa, are you also banning balaclavas? Hoodies? These are some questions I have. There are more.

DEAR REFORM VOTERS, You know leaving the ECHR won’t just affect “the people you don’t like,” right? You lose your human rights too. Equal pay protections? Gone. Maternity leave guarantees? Gone. Protection from being fired while pregnant? Gone. Working time limits? Gone. Domestic violence legal protections? Gone. Right to challenge discrimination? Gone. You’re not immune because you voted for it. The leopards will eat your face too. Part of me wants Reform to win councils just so you can watch them raise your council tax after promising cuts. Just so you can see services collapse while they spend £5,000 on biscuits and £75,000 on flags. Kent tried it. Chaos. DOGE found zero waste. Council tax up 3.99%. Councillors quit. But people voted for Trump. Twice. What’s the definition of insanity again? Vote tactically May 7. Stop this before you find out the hard way.🫵 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿☕️🫖

@HelenGothel @daniellismore How are we currently funding them? (The hotels that is) detention centres will be cheaper overall with less comforts and less time spent. At the same time making the UK less attractive so that the overall requirement for them diminishes, rapidly.

@Reform_Kev @daniellismore How do you expect to sustain a functioning social care system while giving massive tax cuts? Regarding latest proposals to build detention centres in Green constituencies, how do you propose to get planning permission? How will you fund them? Have you checked the legality?

@HelenGothel @daniellismore 2. A. majority Reform government would be the ones making and passing the laws. Thats how democracy works with no external ECHR interefering. If people hold up banners saying refugees welcome here then have at it. We're giving them what they want.

@HelenGothel @daniellismore 1. Social care, filtering out those that deserve and actually need it from the spongers that are gaming the system. Creating a more efficient care system that now doesnt need so wasted money. Not tax cutting, efficiency implementation. We'll make work pay.

@HelenGothel @daniellismore Our pull factors are categoricaĺly the highest, the French, Italians and Germans have all stated as such. Take your head out of the sand is one of the politer rebuttles to that nonsense you're spouting.

@Reform_Kev @daniellismore As our ‘pull factors’ are some of the lowest in the whole of Europe this issue will not go away overnight. If we are talking incompetence, championing Brexit as the answer to the UK’s migrant issues was a great example. Talk to your boss about that particular ‘success’.

@HelenGothel @daniellismore Brexit hasn't been delivered yet. I talk to the boss. We'll sort it shortly, and after this recent vote, it'll be sooner than you think. #BRINO.

@Reform_Kev @daniellismore Again, this hysterical reaction about being called a liar? Why? The Telford hotel had 60 rooms, yet housed dozens of migrants. Do the maths.

@HelenGothel @daniellismore I do like it when people use the word obtuse when they cant actually argue a point. Did it happen, yes, is it just one example of ECHR interference, yes, I also could go on. Do we need the ECHR. No.

@Reform_Kev @daniellismore Are you being deliberately obtuse? The UK is not the most desirable or lucrative destination for migrants. The court ruled separating the child from his criminal father was unlawful. Jumping on a cheap hack of ‘chicken nuggets’ is only to be expected, I suppose.

@Reform_Kev @daniellismore Interesting. How many single rooms did the hotel have? Are you saying every migrant housed in the Madeley Court Hotel, Telford had a room to himself? You could ask Robert Jenrick. He was personally involved with getting these lucrative 5 yr deals for Serco, was he not?
