Hello everyone, Today marks the one-year anniversary of Refraction VR assuming management of vrc.group/LGBTQ.7981. It has been a year of incredible growth, positive change, and community building. I am immensely proud of what we have accomplished together. Here are some of our key achievements from the past year: Community Safety & Moderation: We made safety our top priority, reporting over 300 malicious accounts and avatars to VRChat Trust and Safety and collaborating with law enforcement when needed. Shared Resources: We empowered other groups to improve their own moderation and group management by sharing the group management bot we use, Scarlet. (Join here: discord.gg/tmR8Px8vDa) Incredible Growth: Our community has flourished! The LGBTQ.7981 VRChat group has grown by more than 5,000 members, and our Discord community has expanded to over 1,500 members. The Gay Cafe: Thanks to a generous world donation from @spookyghostboo1 (Thank you for the La Barista), we launched our new community hub, "The Gay Cafe." vrchat.com/home/world/wrl…. We completely updated the world to SDK3, optimized it, expanded the space, and have made it a public resource for any group to use. @VRChat Official Pride Hub: We were honored to have The Gay Cafe’s float and portal featured in the official VRChat Pride hub. vrchat.com/home/world/wrl…. A huge thank you to the VRChat staff for this wonderful collaboration! Also, my staff has also informed me that we managed to help raise ~$1,000 during the charity event. We have successfully moved past old challenges and built a stronger, safer, and more vibrant community. Thank you to every one of you for being a part of this journey.
