As the cost of living rises, more Pennsylvanians are being priced out of affordable housing near their workplaces. I’ve been working with colleagues and housing experts to lay the groundwork for legislation in the state House that addresses rising housing costs.

Almost a million people, thousands of them right here in the Mon Valley, will get as much as $800 back in their pockets at tax time next tax season. If you qualify for the federal Earned Income Tax Credit, you’ll automatically qualify for this new state tax credit.

Working to put money back into the pockets of families in the Mon Valley is always a top priority for me. That’s why the new Working Pennsylvanians Tax Credit included in the PA Budget is such an important win.

Investing in our neighborhoods, supporting jobs, and building in the Mon Valley will always be my first order of business as your representative.

Great news for our community! @SenPisciottano and I have secured $205,000 for local projects in our communities. These grants including upgrades to the Dravosburg Ballfields,renovations for St. Vincent de Paul and new training equipment at the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics.

While I was on my way home from Harrisburg, my staff joined @SenPisciottano and the Mission: Agape Food Bank at the Glassport #1 Firehall to distribute meals to 120 families throughout our area.
