It is Easter Pause Day her at Churwell, with all classes focusing on Easter with fun and engaging activities. To start us off, this morning, Rosie - the curate from St. Peter's church, came to speak to everyone in assembly about the significance of the Easter story 🌈

At Forest School this week, the children worked on Team works skills, which included roasting marshmallows! Yum! 🌈

The Year 2 children showed great resilience skills and used their 'Be Brave' mindset at Forest school this week, using flint and steel, to make different campfire fire styles!🌈

A fabulous week for the Cadamarteri Brothers... both on the score sheet playing for their country! Well done Bailey and Caelan!

Another busy parent/carer consultation evening - our Team Captains have been great at showing grown-ups to the correct places, we have been sharing online safety information with parents/carers and Mrs Oakley has been busy sharing how to use IXL at home 🌈

Our Cluster Council representatives attended a Leeds Youth Summit today - a great way to engage with other children around the setting and share their ideas and thoughts 🌈

Fantastic work in Year 6 today - the children have been experimenting with different fronted adverbial ready for their formal letter writing 🌈

Lovely to welcome parents and carers this evening to meet with class teachers. We also have an online safety drop-in and a chance to find out more about IXL maths 🌈

Our Team Captains have done an excellent job at Parents/Carers Information Evening - they have been very professional and showed parents/carers to the right places - well done team! 🌈
