@MarkHalliwell1 @stuholden My pet hate is throw-ins. Why are players allowed to take a run up, usually 5 or 10 yards past the point of ball going out of play, far more advantageous with throw-ins than a free kick as normally a ball can be kicked further than throwing it.

@stuholden Or just get officials to add on the correct amount of time - even if it is 10-15 minutes. Or dish cards out. Yellows, reds. There was a 'crackdown' on timewasting a few seasons ago with 10-12 mins stoppage time. People moaned about it. Timewasting is not taken seriously enough

I’ve been thinking about this for a while, but it’s time to have a serious conversation about a “shot clock” on set pieces. Direct FK’s from outside the box sometimes take 5 minutes to set up, only to see someone blast it over. 44 second corners to hit a near post defender
