It’s a take. I don’t think it’s a stupid one. Artists create their work and share it with the world in different ways, sure. But in this case, he specifically envisions his game as something meant to be played and experienced firsthand. You can absolutely watch someone play Resident Evil, but you can’t tell me it’s the exact same experience as playing it yourself. There’s a huge difference between experiencing a game through your own actions versus through someone else’s perspective. Games are an interactive medium, and interactivity creates a sense of agency—the feeling that your choices and actions directly shape what happens. Even if you watch a completely commentary-free playthrough, you still don’t have control over the experience. You aren’t making decisions, reacting under pressure, or physically engaging with the game’s systems. That sense of agency and presence changes how your mind and body process what you’re experiencing. Watching can absolutely let you appreciate a game, but playing it creates an embodied experience that observation alone can’t fully replicate. And this is why I can see why he would say something like this.

I’ve loved this case and it’s great protection and cool to display cards but in just a couple of months it’s gone yellow brown so maybe bc of the prices of these cases @showcasedcards don’t list them as ‘anti-yellowing’

Websites like @Stream_Recorder are starting to use your own content to make money. It's pretty important now than ever to have ownership over your brand & name. Otherwise they are banking on the fact that you don't have the time or legal knowledge/resources to fight back when your work is being used without your permission by making you jump through hoops to get it taken down.
