When plans for a baby shower are “broken”, a social distanced drop off of handmade decorations and homemade brunch REPAIR by connecting us through a pop up zoom celebration. More time + more creativity= More beautiful. #C4PZCMA

Week 1-3 favs;)- The Dot(the T’s response to Vashti’s art when it’s there and when it’s not ), Come On Rain (we ALL have stories to tell, even when our breaks are spent at home), Last Stop on Market and Yard Sale (asking ourselves what matters to us?)

Love this! “Compassion emerges from imagining the world alive”. So when reflecting on the throughline in my room that reads- Stories teach us about ourselves and the world. Think about more than the “typical” story. What is the story of geography?design?object?Idea?Speech?art?

I’ve gone from sooooo not a bird person to maybe too frequently observing this family of yellow tailed herons....interesting that looking at the world with curiosity makes the everyday pretty amazing!

Thinking about this as I consider my patterns and the patterns of my 3 kids during less structured time. If I create the space in the classroom, but not in my life....I’m not as authentic as I wish to be. Time to intentionally notice, wonder and question!!!
