Iran is not the Islamic Republic. Iran’s civilian infrastructure belongs to the Iranian people and to the future of a free Iran. The Islamic Republic’s infrastructure is the machinery of repression and terror used to keep that future from becoming reality. Iran must be protected. The regime must be dismantled. I ask President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu to continue targeting the regime and its apparatus of repression, while sparing the civilian infrastructure Iranians will need to rebuild our country. With the support of the US and Israel, and above all the sacrifice of Iranian patriots, the hour of Iran’s freedom is at hand. Long live Iran!

🔷Iran has been a leading sponsor of international terrorism for 47 years 🔷Iran has continued with its nuclear weapons program despite all efforts to curtail it 🔷Iran supplied the Taliban with weapons and explosives that killed 450+ British soldiers in Afghanistan 🔷 Iran has directly attacked British bases in Cyprus and Diego Garcia and has previously attacked British and American interests through its proxies 🔷 Iran cannot live in peace with its Middle East neighbours and has attacked many of them without provocation, even before the current operation against it 🔷 Iran planned, funded, and facilitated the October 7 attack against Israel, knowing full well that it would precipitate a wider conflict in Gaza and immense human suffering 🔷Iran continues to oppress its own people and regularly executes children under the age of 16 simply for expressing their opinions 🔷 Iran has a totalitarian theocratic regime opposed to the democratic freedoms we take for granted - it doesn’t believe in the rights of the individual 🔷 Iran hates Western values and has consistently tried to undermine us in our own countries through gray zone disinformation campaigns By any reasonable definition under international law, Iran is a rogue state. I don’t approve of the way in which Trump decided to pursue his policy against Iran - without getting prior support from America’s allies - but I am with him all the way for deciding to get rid of the evil and despotic religious maniacs who have made life so miserable for so many. The world will be a safer place. Also, if, as a result of regime change, Christians, Muslims, Jews, and other religions will develop a greater tolerance for each other, this will be a worthwhile secondary outcome. In summary, Trump’s personality and unconventional approach to government are divisive, but on Iran he is right and deserves the full support of Europe.

A railway company in Japan once ran out of money to pay a stationmaster. So they gave the job to the cat who lived outside the station. She wore a custom made hat, worked for cat food, and saved the entire line. Her name was Tama. She was a calico cat who had spent her days sitting near the entrance of Kishi Station in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan, greeting passengers anyway. When the company destaffed the station in 2006 to cut costs, the president visited to discuss what to do about the stray cats living nearby. He looked into Tama's eyes and later said they conveyed a sense of purpose as strong as any of his employees. He made her stationmaster. Within a month passenger numbers rose by seventeen percent. People began travelling from across Japan just to see her. Tourists arrived from other countries. A French documentary crew came to film her. The station was eventually rebuilt in the shape of a cat's face. In her eight years as stationmaster Tama contributed an estimated one billion yen to the local economy. She was promoted four times. She eventually held the title of Honorary President of the railway. The only female in a senior position in the entire company. When she passed away in 2015 over three thousand people attended her funeral. She was given the posthumous title Honorary Eternal Stationmaster and enshrined at a nearby Shinto shrine as a goddess. The position of stationmaster at Kishi Station is still held by a cat today.

I am posting from inside Iran, bypassing several layers of blockage to post this. The Iranian people want this regime gone and are willing to pay the price, because the price of the regime staying in power is higher. That is all. That's the tweet.

I'm sorry, but saying the Catholic Church can't be bought is really pretty funny given one of the main reasons for the Reformation in the first place was its sale of Indulgences.
Darling Rosary@DarlingRosary

The thing that scares @tedcruz the most about Catholics is we are not so moldable as evangelicals. We have 2000 years of teachings from the magisterium that shapes our understanding of morality. It doesn’t always align with conservatism. In other words We can’t be bought.

To every Western pundit and diaspora hypocrite crying over the 'destruction of Iran's infrastructure' from the airstrikes: watch this video. This is not a bomb crater. This is not earthquake rubble. This is a civilian road in Behbahan leading to a cemetery. Why does it look like a war zone? Because the families of the people slaughtered in the November 2019 massacre announced they were going to hold a memorial for their loved ones. So the Islamic Republic brought in heavy machinery and completely obliterated the road, just to stop grieving mothers from reaching the graves of their murdered children. This is the daily reality of the terrorist occupation we have lived under for 47 years. They have spent decades leveling our actual civilian infrastructure just to enforce their terror and physically torture the families of the dead. So stop weeping over their military bases getting dismantled. We do not need your fake outrage.

The Free Speech Union
The Free Speech Union@SpeechUnion·
📣🚨The Free Speech Union is mounting a legal challenge against the Government over its official definition of Islamophobia — now repackaged as 'anti-Muslim hatred' — and its appointment of a new 'tsar' to punish people who fall foul of it. This amounts to a Muslim blasphemy law via the back door. The definition is vague and subjective, and will be weaponised to silence legitimate criticism and debate about Islam, Muslims, and Islamic practices and history. The FSU’s General Secretary, Lord Young of Acton, said: “This is the most serious threat to free speech the Government has come up with so far — the only area in which it’s achieving any success. “If we don’t win this fight, tens of thousands of people a year could lose their jobs at the say-so of a Labour-appointed ‘tsar’. It’s dystopian.” Public bodies will adopt this definition — despite it being non-statutory — with the same zeal the police have shown in investigating and recording non-crime hate incidents (NCHIs). It is predicted by one of the drafters of the definition that it could lead to around 20,000 reports of 'anti-Muslim hostility' a year. At present, the number of recorded anti-Muslim hate crimes is around 4,000. In a free society, no religion should be shielded from legitimate criticism. This proposal places one faith above the rest. The Free Speech Union is bringing a legal challenge on two grounds. First, the definition relies on nebulous, legally undefined terms such as “negative and prejudicial stereotyping of Muslims”, making it incoherent and irrational — and ripe for weaponisation. Second, adopting such a definition cuts across legislation already enacted by Parliament and therefore breaches the public law principle known as “occupying the field”. Under this established public law doctrine, new regulations, put in place by ministers, must not replace existing legislation. It is constitutionally unlawful. In this case, the body responsible for protecting Muslims from discrimination is the Equality and Human Rights Commission, not an anti-Muslim hostility 'tsar'. Parliament voted to abolish blasphemy laws 18 years ago. We can't let this Government resurrect them via the back door. This is one of the biggest battles the Free Speech Union has ever taken on in its six years — and we need your help. Judicial reviews are expensive, but this is a fight we felt we had to take on. Nothing is proved yet Zack. The fact that you are spreading misinformation is appalling for someone in your position. To date no one has been allowed to see any evidence of casualties or even the site itself. The regime says it’s America or Israel. The Americans say they were nowhere near the area. Here’s what Iranians inside Iran say: IRGC blew it up themselves to fill it up with dead bodies of children they’ve kept on ice hidden away in cold storage from the January slaughters to put on display in order to blame their aggressors. The fact that we have not seen the evidence yet is a red flag as we know the regime would have gleefully paraded those images on television and all over the internet. Most probably they were caught on film transferring the bodies hence why there is now a media black out on this story, as well as a full internet blackout. As Iranians we know how this regime operates. We’re talking about new levels of evil. So any narrative like the one you are pushing Zack actually supports the regime in their “don’t care how many die as long as we stay in power” quest. For the love of God and humanity, please stop. #IranMassacre #IranIsraelWar

See that destroyed building in Tehran? FARAJA, Iran's morality police headquarters. Mahsa Amini was killed there. I was taken there for showing HAIR. The terror, the humiliation, unforgettable. Millions of Iranian women know this fear. Now it's rubble. Not destruction. Justice.
