We can confirm that it has been mutually agreed for Head Coach Igor Tudor to leave the Club with immediate effect. Tomislav Rogic and Riccardo Ragnacci have also left their respective roles of Goalkeeping Coach and Physical Coach. We thank Igor, Tomislav and Riccardo for their efforts during the past six weeks, in which they worked tirelessly. We also acknowledge the bereavement that Igor has recently suffered and send our support to him and his family at this difficult time. An update on a new Head Coach will be provided in due course.

RIP Manny ❤️ 16 year old Manny was a keen player for Church Stretton Magpies who transitioned at a young age into refereeing. We featured Manny last October when he was sadly diagnosed with terminal cancer. We are deeply saddened to hear that he has now passed away. Emanuel “Manny” Aston, a young referee whose passion, positivity and love for football left a lasting impression on those around him. Manny was a valued member of the refereeing community, and his dedication to the game will not be forgotten. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and everyone connected to Telford Referees Association at this incredibly difficult time. A celebration of Manny’s life will take place on 18th April at 5:00pm. Those attending are invited to wear something red or a Liverpool shirt in his honour. Rest in peace, Manny.

RIP Haaris 😢 Dukinfield Tigers JFC u14s player Haaris sadly passed away yesterday after being diagnosed a few weeks back with leukaemia. A statement from the club reads as follows. Dukinfield Tigers JFC are devastated to announce the passing of one of our own. Haaris Ansari was part of our U14’s Stripes team, and was a hugely popular member of the group. Sadly a number of weeks ago Haaris was diagnosed with leukaemia and sadly lost his battle last night. Haaris always had a huge smile on his face, he always encouraged his teammates & was a regular at our U14’s game supporting the lads from sidelines when he wasn’t playing for our U14’s Stripes. Haaris loved tigers, he loved his teammates & loved his coaches. Tigers have lost one of their own today, and this has left a huge hole that will never be filled. A number of Haaris’s teammates & coaches will be attending his funeral tomorrow to pay our respects. His memory will on forever. Haaris’s best friend has setup a go fund me page, with all proceeds raised going to his family. Our club chairman has kindly made a considerable donation on behalf of the club, but if anyone else would like to contribute no matter how big or small it’ll be massively appreciated. Thank you.
