Trump and Harris were not our “only choices” in 2024 as though they were imposed on us by demonic martians. They were the predictable product of a weak and frightened type of Christian who prefers the voting booth to the command of Christ to make disciples of the nations.

In 2022, I watched the pro-life orgs in my state all promise they weren't interested in abolishing abortion. After I recovered from the shock of such admission, by God's grace I found the Protestant-founded and led abortion Abolition Movement. Praise God His remnant is still out there doing true Kingdom work.

Dear R&D listeners, I need to share something from the heart. As much as I love that this channel brings a lot of fun and joy to the topic of theology, there are times when you have to address things happening around you that are truly evil. There are things that must produce righteous anger within us. My next song aims to do that. Some context. I live in Idaho, and I’m grateful to be represented by a state senator who fears God (and is even Reformed). He’s passionate about protecting preborn children from the wickedness of abortion. And yet, despite Idaho being considered one of the “most restrictive” states in the nation, some forms of abortion are still legal here. Let that sink in. Children in the womb do not have equal protection under the law in Idaho — or in any state. Idaho is deeply conservative. Republicans who claim to be pro-life dominate the legislature. So why hasn’t abortion been abolished? It’s not primarily leftist Democrats standing in the way. It’s so-called conservatives. It’s pro-life organizations lobbying against Equal Protection bills… bills that simply affirm that a child, from the moment of fertilization, has the same legal rights as any other human being. I’ve heard guys like Jeff Durbin speak about this corruption. But now I’ve seen it firsthand in my own state. And it breaks my heart. It also makes me angry. I want God’s blessing on this nation. I want His blessing on Idaho. But why would God bless a people who legally permit the murder of their own children? We all know the answer. What makes this even harder to stomach is that many of the officials blocking justice claim to be evangelical, conservative Christians. This truth needs to be exposed. And I want to use my new platform to help expose it. I don’t care if YouTube penalizes the channel. I don’t care if it offends subscribers. This injustice cannot continue on our watch. Across the country the past few months, in states like Idaho, Iowa, South Carolina, South Dakota, and many others, faithful men and women are introducing Equal Protection bills. And those bills are being quietly killed in committee. There’s an organization called Foundation to Abolish Abortion that has released a powerful documentary exposing what’s happening behind the scenes. I strongly encourage you to support their work and see how you can get involved. If this is happening in your state, please write to your representatives and senators. If your state doesn’t have Equal Protection bills being submitted, you can still get involved. It’s time for the Church to rise up and be a prophetic voice to the civil magistrate.
