Checkout this short clip on how I filmed this scene for my film. I also digitally added the rear view mirror afterwards. I customised & adapted my car & concealed the lavalier mics out of shot, It took 3 attempts to film it until I was happy with the results. 🎬 🎥 #Filmmaking

The odd setback is to expected in trying to produce a micro-budget film, but right now they're coming thick and fast and the will to continue is being severely tested. Hoping to find a saviour but looking unlikely. #microbudgetfilm

Making a micro-budget film is so difficult!!! Props/costumes companies hardly ever reply to you, agents likewise, funding organisations completely blank you. The obstacles put in your way are ridiculous! It really isn't worth the effort. #filmmaking #microbudgetfilms

All this effort to get a project off the ground and then you hear people, who have been encouraging and positive, openly disparaging it behind your back and humorously mocking your efforts to create something is a real punch to the guts.

@paulfinchauthor @daveainsworth63 @Film4 It was filmed as 'Call Me A Cab' and only changed to Carry On Cabby after the first preview screening for the bosses at Anglo Amalgamated, who thought the film would do better under the Carry On banner.

@daveainsworth63 @Film4 Always liked the way Sid had set up the taxi firm to help employ WW2 veterans. Apparently, it wasn't originally a Carry On film, so maybe there'd have been more of that in the first version.

For those who believe the myth that James Bolam blocked WHTTLL? repeats - a reminder that reruns aired on BBC1 or BBC2 during 1975, 1981, 1982, 1985, 1986, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001 & 2002. Plus a BBC4 run during 2013 and Gold/Drama repeats between 2015 & 2016.

After a busy Christmas and New Year period (I'd like to say break but was anything but!), work resumes on the development for 'Exploits of a Travelling Salesman' this week!! Exciting times! 😀
