If the answer is Yes & No, make it crawlable. No & Yes, block it. No & No, block it. Only Yes & Yes poses a challenge. #seo #ecommerce

Crawl control for #ecommerce #SEO is critical for large scale enterprise websites, but can be simplified if you ask two simple questions about a URL/Folder: - do we need this crawling/indexing? - could it be preventing other more important URLs from being crawled/indexed?

🤔 Did you know that sometimes, Google, and not your website, is the reason your pages aren't indexed? To verify this, use the Google Search Console. Simply navigate to Indexing > Pages in the Google Search Console. Look for the Source column adjacent to the Reason column in the "Why pages aren’t indexed" section. The Source will indicate either 'Website' or 'Google System': ❗️If the Source reads "Google System", the issue arises from Google's end. Most times, there's no action required on your part, except in certain instances where you might need to request page re-indexation. ❗️If the Source states "Website", the problem stems from your site, and you should address it if necessary. Have you kept an eye on this before?
