25-35 are crazy years. Today you want to learn coding or cybersecurity, tomorrow you’re thinking of quitting your job to learn mechanic or nail tech.

Just a reminder that your friends love you but they don’t always have the capacity. We’re all going through multiple things simultaneously. Give grace.

Just an observation. The women have recognised there’s a problem and created groups for themselves and worked collaboratively without there being a fee or a cost. Regarding Black men I don’t get why yall don’t do the same. What are the barriers here? Because I see Black men in abundance regarding property, forex and crypto groups? There are many Black men doing exceptional things for the community from a career perspective but I don’t see other Black men celebrating them enough or their platforms being amplified yet they’re doing soo much to tackle the problem you’ve shared. Maybe it’s because they’re not millionaires? Is it only we celebrate Black men doing amazing things if they’re rich? Or if it’s property forex or trading? I can name soo many Black men who are doing things in the career space who are being supported by women but aren’t getting the visibility or appreciation that they should amongst other Black men in the same way that other non career (property, forex trading, music, business) folk are.

Dating game is a mess. Black men have a much higher unemployment rate than black women in the UK. As a career coach I can tell you this is what I see too. Black men are struggling. There are so many events and communities for women from finance groups, to career groups black women in tech, black women in finance, sisterhoods but black men just turn up to football, parties and group chats. Maybe it’s because men and women are different. There are not many if any groups uniquely for black men to grow in business, career or finances and they are getting left behind as a result. Ultimately black men need to do better but can also do with female allies. Women have a lot of skills, experience and value to offer to men on a business, career and even financial level trust me. Black men also don’t share their problems enough to uplift one and another they tend to suffer in silence. I could go on with this topic but for now I’m just going to put it out there.
