Not noninferior = INFERIOR Take your blood thinners folks - still the gold standard for stroke prevention in patients with AF who don’t have clear contraindication to anticoagulation.

New data from @ELAN_Trial presented by @StrokeBern @FishingNeurons and @mbgoeldlin suggest that benefit of early start of DOAC after stroke is equal for all stroke sizes, probably even biggest in large sized strokes. Investigators did a great job estimimating stroke size 👏👏
