It's the day the golf world patiently waits for. Welcome back to Monday at the Masters. #themasters

@BenBarnigoat Mad because the Indy 500 is more entertaining than any F1 race in the history of that sport. 40 overtakes for the lead with over 400 on track overtakes year in and year out. But you’re right, the pole sitter winning by 21 seconds every race is much more entertaining!

If this regulation set has accomplished one thing, if anything, is it's exposed larpers in their true form.
'Pure racing' and it's fuel saving for 190 laps before 3 back to back cautions because the drivers forget how to drive.

No manufactured overtakes. No lifting to save battery. Just pure racing, land jets dogfighting at 230+ mph. America does open wheel racing better 🤷♂️ #IndyCar // #Indy500

NEW: Kentucky just became the first school to launch an NIL program with Fanatics 👀
Players can now create their own storefronts, promote official UK gear, and get paid through the retailer's Creator Program

Just now getting around listening to Mark Pope’s show tonight.
A lot of mixed responses.
One thing I’m really glad of is that he seems to be real and cuts out a lot of jargon. I really like that.
He provides a lot of context and great points.
On the other side of the coin. Yes they have been better the last two years than the previous four years, even with the injuries and strengthened conference and schedule, but you know the assignment and standards… this year was a disappointment no matter who was hurt or what the previous four years were. I truly see both sides here.
I think it was really good for him to just be real and talk to us, but it still has to be better next year.
As someone who has stood up for Pope more than I should have and tried to stay right down the middle,
I’m pulling for him so much.

Here is Pope’s 4 minute monologue comparing his last 2 years with Calipari’s last 4 years He clearly came with lots of numbers he wanted to share to showcase how he believes they have improved

@TaninSmithKK Time to blow it all up. No sense in bringing pope back with such little resources.

@MattSakR2NG His on court problems are fixable. Mindset isn’t. He’s got the proper mindset for a program like Kentucky. Do whatever we can to get him back.

This is the kind of thing that people with no connection to, or understanding of, Kentucky say
CBS Sports College Basketball 🏀@CBSSportsCBB
"At the end of the day, I think the [Kentucky] fan base needs to temper their expectations, Mark Pope has this thing going in the right direction." - @itsbjtaylor
English

@MattSakR2NG Bingo. He has all the tools and resources to be successful here I just worry about his experience as a coach in general to pull it off at the highest level. Time will tell that’s for sure.
English

@SamDeering2 Absolutely. Zero proof of concept that Pope can take a team to the final four. He was never in a spot to really do so, but that’s why it was a questionable at best hire by Mitch.
English

I genuinely think Pope is a good coach who has had terrible luck so far at Uk
The same way I think Calipari still is a good coach who had some bad luck his last 4 years
But Calipari had too many losses to excuse and he had to go
A blowout in R32 gets added to Pope’s list
