Taking a break from X.
Today felt like everything completely unraveled—Elon and Trump managed to burn it all to the ground. I’ve lost a lot of hope, and I need time to step back.
I’ll be back when I’m ready.

Hi everyone, I’ve been quiet on here this past week, and I just wanted to share why. My family is going through an incredibly difficult time. My stepdad suffered a cardiac arrest after choking, and we’ve been by his side as the doctors work to assess the full extent of his brain injury. We’re still waiting on answers, but the situation is serious and heartbreaking. At the same time, my son has been dealing with severe stomach issues and abnormal test results that have kept us in and out of the hospital, trying to figure out what’s going on. And on top of all this, our sweet dog Rocky, who’s already in hospice care for heart failure, has taken a turn for the worse. My heart is heavy, and it’s been a lot all at once. I haven’t had the strength to be online, but I didn’t want to disappear without saying something. Please keep my family in your prayers — especially my stepdad, my son, and Rocky. Your thoughts, support, and prayers mean more than you know. I’ll be back when I can. With love, Stephany.

@CynicalPublius There’s no way and they don’t seem to gasp that little problem. They want major change, give Trump the 60 GOP Senator Majority. Until then, reconciliation bill is the best way forward. It only requires 51 votes.

I’m really getting sick and tired of asking this same question over and over and over without anyone having an answer, but I feel it is my duty to ask it again: How is it possible to achieve the bill Elon Musk, Thomas Massie and Rand Paul want without 60 votes in the Senate? I mean, if someone has a solid path for such a thing I will totally get behind it, but thus far there are zero living humans who can express that solid path.

.@SecScottBessent: "[The CBO] came out and scored the tariff revenue, we think it will be the minimum of $2.8T over the 10-year window, which actually puts the bill in surplus if you include the tariff revenue — which they won't do."

Hang on, think about it....both these men are too damn smart, this COULD be a set up...to get the dems to vote for the bill as is...for them to be "anti-Musk" if he pushes to be a "Massie" type conservative. I think they are playing everyone and using the media like the tools they are bc they knew they would lap it up like dogs. This post made me think about it. x.com/Randanon5/stat…

@JoeyMannarinoUS @elonmusk Thank you! This is what I have been saying. We don’t have a 60 Senate Majority to pass single bills! This is the best we are going to get with what we have.

Why is this so difficult to grasp? This is not a budget bill. Single-issue bills require 60 votes in the Senate—and we do not have a 60-seat GOP majority. The majority of what was promised is being delivered in this bill. DODGE cuts will be codified through other legislation. Additional cuts and defunding will come in the 2026 budget. This is a reconciliation bill, which only requires 51 votes— making it the most strategic way to get things passed right now. You can’t demand everything in one bill when that’s not how Congress works. If you want sweeping change, then fight for a 60-seat GOP majority. Until then, this is the smart, effective path forward.

Stop using Grok to give you the information and write your post. This is ridiculous. Example: “$45B for ICE detention (265% increase from 2023) to expand facilities while border security remains chaotic.” How exactly is border security chaotic under this administration? Please explain ? “$8B to hire ICE agents instead of redirecting funds to streamline legal immigration.” Why do we need to streamline immigration for illegals crossing into the country?! We all did it the right way, why do criminals get a streamlined in immigration? I can go on and on. What you posted makes zero sense.

Here’s the breakdown of egregious spending in the Big Beautiful Bill: 1. $45B for ICE detention (265% increase from 2023) to expand facilities while border security remains chaotic. 2. $14B for deportation ops prioritizing removals over vetting asylum claims fairly. 3. $8B to hire ICE agents instead of redirecting funds to streamline legal immigration. 4. $1,000 asylum application fee (first in U.S. history) penalizing refugees fleeing persecution. 5. Annual $100 fee during pending asylum cases, exploiting delays they created. 6. $550 every 6 months to maintain work permits—extorting migrants already contributing. 7. $900 appeal fees for asylum denials, pricing out due process. 8. 9.4% salary surcharge on new federal hires to retain civil service protections—coercing at-will employment. 9. Gutting Medicaid by 15M+ losing coverage, slashing nursing home staffing rules (13K+ deaths projected). 10. $80B total immigration enforcement bloat—more than NASA’s entire budget—while infrastructure crumbles. This bill isn’t fiscal responsibility—it’s weaponizing budgets to fund cruelty and bureaucratic rot. Real reform cuts waste, not essential services.

🚨 OUTRAGE: 🇺🇸 Judge’s Order Halts Deportation of 8 High-Risk Criminals, Endangering ICE & DOD Officers! 🚨 On June 4, 2025, a federal judge blocked the deportation of eight high-risk criminal aliens, stranding them at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, in a converted Conex container lacking proper security for detention. Mellissa B. Harper, Acting Deputy Executive Associate Director of ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations, detailed dire conditions in a sworn declaration: 11 ICE officers, working 12-hour shifts, guard these aliens in a conference room without adequate security, risking altercations. Officers face health risks from Djibouti’s 100°F+ heat, burn pit smog causing respiratory issues, and lack of antimalarial medication, with some now ill and relying on limited medical supplies. DOD resources are strained, and officers lack body armor amid rocket attack threats from Yemen. Critics on X slam the judge for overstepping, arguing this ruling prioritizes dangerous criminals over the safety of ICE and DOD personnel. The aliens’ violent records heighten concerns, and Harper’s team struggles to maintain custody under these conditions. @kyledcheney “It raises the question: Why is the Trump administration forcing them to stay there?” Yeah it Trumps fault 🙄 not the judge that decided to overstep his authority.

ICE describes absolutely hellish conditions for both its officers and immigrant detainees at a U.S. naval base in Djibouti — risk of malaria, extreme heat, limited lighting, sparse security measures, nearby burn pits, potential for rocket attacks, rampant sickness. It raises the question: Why is the Trump administration forcing them to stay there? Judge Murphy's order required providing due process to those being sent to South Sudan. He didn't dictate where that due process should occur — abroad or in the United States — but the Trump administration said it preferred keeping the migrants outside of the United States. Murphy emphasized that this could also occur at any other U.S. facility abroad. Instead, the administration says it has a team of 11 ICE officials guarding the detainees in a converted shipping container at a U.S. naval base in Djibouti. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.usco…

🚨 JUST IN: 🇺🇸 DOJ Seeks Pretrial Jail for Emily Sommer Over Tweet Violating Release Conditions! 🚨 The Department of Justice is requesting a federal judge detain Emily Gabriella Sommer, 32, pretrial after she allegedly violated her release conditions by tweeting at former interim U.S. Attorney Edward R. Martin Jr. on June 3, 2025. Sommer, charged with assault for spitting on Martin during a May 8 Newsmax interview, was released after her May 22 arrest but barred from contacting Martin. The DOJ claims her tweet, posted from her @EmilyGabriellaS account, breached this condition. Prosecutors also cite Sommer’s alleged spitting and kicking of U.S. Marshals during custody as grounds for detention, warning of potential additional assault charges and a possible stalking charge due to her repeated online targeting of Martin. Sommer’s attorneys argue the tweet was not threatening and detention is excessive. A hearing is set for June 6. X posts are divided, with some calling it a free speech issue, others supporting DOJ’s push for accountability. 🚨 #BREAKING: 🇺🇸 Supreme Court Unanimously Rules for Ohio Woman in Reverse Discrimination Case! 🚨 On June 5, 2025, the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously revived Marlean Ames’ lawsuit against the Ohio Department of Youth Services, ruling that she faced workplace discrimination due to her heterosexual orientation. Ames, employed since 2004, alleged she was denied a promotion to bureau chief in 2019 and demoted from her role as PREA administrator, with both positions given to gay colleagues under a gay supervisor. The Court struck down the Sixth Circuit’s “background circumstances” rule, which required majority-group plaintiffs like Ames to provide extra evidence of discrimination, deeming it inconsistent with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson wrote that Title VII applies equally, stating, “Discrimination based on sexual orientation, whether gay or straight, is prohibited.” The ruling, impacting 20 states, makes it easier for majority groups to pursue reverse discrimination claims. Ames’ case returns to lower courts, though her ultimate success remains uncertain. Sources: NPR, CBS News, SCOTUSblog #SCOTUS #ReverseDiscrimination
