In 2020, Jeyaraj (59) and his son Beniks (31) were picked up, later found they hadn’t violated any rule. What followed was unimaginable brutality: all-night custodial torture, multiple injuries, forced to clean their own blood, severe internal assault, bleeding profusely even as they were sent to jail. Both died within days. This “rarest of rare” verdict is justice but also a chilling reminder of what unchecked power can do.... This judgement should be posted across all police stations in the country!
