Last week I took part in FIA F4 Global Shootout, organised by @FIAIndianF4 and Racing Promotions, as one of the 12 drivers in the world selected to participate which was hosted in France 🇫🇷 Great 3 days with lots of track time, sim racing, reaction testing and technical workshops. An amazing experience despite incredibly hot weather, I learned so much, was super happy with my pace and it was great to drive alongside so many talented drivers from all over the world. There were also 2 other girls in the shootout and it was so good to not be the only girl on track for once. I also had the best surprise - on day 1, I spotted a Polish flag at one of the track corners. And then on last day, one of the girls spotted someone holding a banner saying 'Forza Kristine'. It turned out to be someone from Poland who has been following my journey - he came all the way from Poland, and spent 3 days hiding in the bushes (quite literally) in scorching heat to secretly support me and not distract me. Not only that, he also included Lola Bunny on the banner (see pics below) - which is a very special element on my helmet in memory of my younger brother. I don't think I have to say that I got quite emotional. Thank you so much to the championship organisers, Racing Promotions, Karthik, Akhil Reddy and everyone else involved for this amazing opportunity. It's kind of a different post than usual from me. I don't usually share these things, but I believe it's OK because we are all human. I have 2 chronic conditions, IBS and chronic 24/7 headaches.
