God is indeed 😊 . This picture reminds me of how perfectly engineered our world is. It makes you wonder if our planet is a giant ball of water. Though, science tells us it is not. The oceans cover 71% of the surface, but it is a very thin layer. If you compare the Earth to an apple, the oceans are thinner than the skin of that apple. Beneath that skin, the Earth is packed with heavy rock and a dense iron core. This makes it a solid stone wearing a thin coat of water. But that thin coat is where we have to pause and reflect as Muslims. What you are seeing from this NASA space exploration is the visual proof of a divine blueprint. In a universe filled with dead rocks and toxic gas, Earth is covered in water for one specific reason. If we look at Surah Al-Anbiya, verse 30. Allah says: وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمَاءِ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ حَيٍّ ۖ أَفَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ "And We made from water every living thing. Then will they not believe?" And in Surah An-Nur, verse 45: وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَ كُلَّ دَابَّةٍ مِّن مَّاءٍ "Allah has created every moving creature from water." We read these verses all the time. However, seeing the planet from a spaceship gives it a new weight. The Creator wrapped a rocky core in just enough water to engineer and sustain every single breathing ecosystem on the surface. This NASA picture represents a visual reflection of the Quran playing out in real time. Indeed, God is great 😊
