Back in high school I got so good at mentally defeating any potential shooter who could enter the classroom (karate, targeted stapler throws, etc) that I actually had to start playing mental war games and innovating new school shooting tactics just to think up ways to defeat them

Atrocious latency aside, do car manufacturers not realize that reaching your arm all the way to use a touchscreen fucking SUCKS if your car is at all shaking/moving? None of these designs have any sort of elbow/wrist rest for you to stabilize your arm while using it. Super unsafe

@Parker69922 Well the regular one represents all imo but the progress flag highlights/platforms causes that require extra attention/support. It’s def a regional/temporal thing. Wouldn’t make sense in some places. The rainbow is international and eternal.

I typically prefer the regular rainbow flag as representative of our community. But we’re under attack. Trans people, POC, intersex people are all in the enemies crosshairs. I think of the progress flag as a battle flag. It’s badass and it shows we’re fighting. We’ll win the war.

In a better world he would’ve not concerned himself with politics and cleanliness. He would’ve been kept in a zoo-like enclosure and children could go on field trips to see “the gamer” and hand feed him pellets.

Looks are social power and writing off looksmaxers as weirdos is akin to hating people for fixing their speech impediments or improving their wardrobe. Maybe we can change in the long run, but for now the human subconscious simply prioritizes those it finds attractive.

But now that I’ve had facial surgery (twice), breast implants, lost weight and gotten more defined hips and waist, people sit through my jokes. People want to listen to me suddenly. It’s repulsive and makes you lose faith in humanity, but it proves looksmaxing is just pragmatic.

I’m a looksmaxer. Sure, the work I’ve had done are transition related. Making my body match my status as a woman is important, but so are my looks. I used to be chopped but now I’m decent looking and people noticeably treat me better. Looksmaxers are right.
