The Board is deeply sorry for the way Sound Escape conducted itself over the past week. Please see our apology below, along with the offending tweets, and know that we're taking this opportunity to learn from @starplanes and all those who, rightfully, called us out.

SDITE helped us refine many of our processes and we wish them well in their next chapter. The Sound Escape collective board has been discussing new updates that will be occurring within the next few months, so please stay tuned for more announcements and new shows coming soon.

We designed the collective to allow showrunners to function at their own pace for people who aren't at a place to produce full-time. We're glad that not only can any show join the collective, but any show can grow to be on their own if they wish.

We wanted to share that Someone Dies In This Elevator is no longer producing under the Sound Escape collective. We're sad to see the show go, but we're happy to see them graduate.
