The government just handed out a food check of around 3,000 DKK (about $430 USD) to the worst-off people in Denmark as “compensation.” Five minutes before a new election. And get this: About 19,000 of them are millionaires. Why? Because they didn’t bother to calculate that the wife in the family had no income. I kid you not. They literally gave taxpayer money meant for struggling families to people who are millionaires on paper - just because the system didn’t check if both spouses had zero earnings. They call it “targeted relief.” I call it what it is: throwing our money around like confetti to buy or keep the votes from the people they think won’t notice the scam. Wake up, people.
