These are just little one off humor comics. The overall AU’s story is actually pretty dark. For this specifically, they aren’t in an aquarium like you or I would know. It’s basically a very confidential research facility that is heavily guarded by the military. No ordinary civilian is supposed to know they exist. Michael has been wild a lot longer than Lucifer. They’re basically sirens. Lucifer chose to lead a human life with Lilith and have Charlie, Michael stayed in the ocean. Luci’s secret was found out, he was taken, and the method of communication they use in the pod (conch shells) was taken from Lucifer. It was then used to lure Michael (who hasn’t seen his brother in years) into getting captured. Humans are trying to discover the location of the species, thus why Luci is tagged. Luci doesn’t know where the pod is—he’d been human for years—but Michael DOES because Michael is the pod’s guardian. Michael’s sole purpose is to ensure no harm ever comes to his pod, therefore he’s extremely resistant to captivity. He rips off tags—even if they harm him, he attacks workers, guards Lucifer, never speaks to humans etc etc. anything to prevent humans from learning about him, their species and their whereabouts. they NEED Michael but he knows that and does everything in his power to protect his people by defying the humans. I’m rambling now, but I hope that adds a little context to the LureAU for you! 😁

Unfortunately, neither Raphael or Gabriel are really allowed to see the twins in Twinnergy. Michael doesn’t want them around his kids at all. His daughter, Grace, makes attempts behind his back to reunite with Gabe later in life, but as kids, there’s almost no contact. Raphael thinks they’re bastard children anyways since their mom was a human soul AND a demon, so he does not care for them in general. He’s a bit of a purist and thinks Michael should’ve reproduced with a seraphim, not a sinner 💀

Addi and Lev have been together for a few years but not publicly. Addi is severely closeted, and it leads to a lot of issues in their relationship 💔 Luci (who is named Sam in the au) is separated from Lilith and trying desperately to salvage his marriage. Lilith is rarely in the picture, so people who don’t know him think Sam’s a single dad. 💀

He knows what he did and accepts it. But the VEEs. OOMF. I have lots of plans for Michael’s response to Luci being bullied by Vox in S2. Let’s just say Michael would only make the situation worse, but Vox WOULD learn to stfu around him 💀🤣
