A vocal advocate for international cooperation, what would he would have thought of Canada being in discussions with the Trump Administration for the Golden Dome, and scheme that will break the taboo and put weapons in space for the first time?

I'm proud to have worked with Canada's first astronaut, Marc Garneau. In 2007 colleagues and I joined with Marc to meet with MPs to press for a Canadian Space Strategy. He gave a brilliant presentation, reminding Parliamentarians that Canada was the third nation to be in space.
