Great nations would never allow their enemies to illegally invade, drop a couple million babies, and them immediately declare that the enemy’s progeny magically have the exact same rights as the soldiers fighting to protect the homeland. That is not something a great nation would ever do. The acceptance of the Trojan horse offering from the Greeks is viewed as the perfect emblem of how a nation can be doomed by its own strategic ineptitude. But recall that the Trojans were tricked by the Greeks. Of course Troy never would have allowed the Greeks to enter the city had they know the gift’s true nature. Only a laughable nation full of morons destined to be a footnote of history would have intentionally invited its enemy inside to destroy it from within. Yet that is exactly what Chief Justice John Roberts argued by implication today during oral arguments over birthright citizenship. Roberts suggested that America—the greatest nation in history—enacted a law (which its own authors say did not apply to foreigners or aliens) effectively telling the Greeks they didn’t even need to go to the trouble of building fake horses. All they had to do to eventually outnumber and conquer Troy was make sure enough Greek woman had their babies inside the city’s walls. Why defeat a nation militarily when you can just slip across its borders, birth an army that magically has the power to determine who runs your enemy’s government, and take over the whole thing without firing a shot in anger? A great nation would never be so stupid as to do such a thing. And America never did. The 14th amendment’s text makes it clear. The statements of its author at the time make it clear. The legislative and judicial history at the time make it clear. A great court would never sentence a great nation to its own demise by declaring that an enemy can unilaterally make its own children full citizens of its foe simply by invading and bearing children there. And a great chief justice of a great court of a great nation would never allow such an absurdity to rule that nation.

After listening to the arguments, it is clear most of the Justices understand the risk of birth right citizenship continuing as is. Also though, they don't care and have no intention of stopping it and the long term damage it is doing to the country.

@ksorbs They have almost everyone's support, but the @SenateGOP are turning their back on one of the easiest bipartisan issues in America.

@bleeb12057 @GhostOfNorman @thevivafrei LOL. When Kolvet said that, he was speaking specifically about Kent leaking those texts to Candace Owens. You think that makes Kent look good? It doesn't. It goes to further prove he wasn't interested in investigating, he was trying to point the finger by whatever means.

Kolvet (Charlie Kirk’s producer and a TPUSA staffer) has publicly confirmed: “Yes, I shared the screen grab with Joe Kent… We’ve done this quietly behind the scenes with countless items.” He also noted that Kent urged him to make the information public, but Kolvet declined at the time.

@bleeb12057 @GhostOfNorman @thevivafrei I made no claim of the gov keeping no secrets. Your argument is Charlie's inner circle provided some sort of information. If that really happened, that is easily provable, by Kent, by the people who sent the info, by any number of people involved. There is no evidence of that.

His office was involved in the investigation of the shooting until they actually arrested Robinson, for good reason. It was only after the arrest that orders we given by FBI to treat Robinson strictly as a “lone gunman” and not pursue additional leads/associates. Publicly provable? So the government keeps no secrets? What?

@bleeb12057 @GhostOfNorman @thevivafrei His role was not to investigate leads. That is the job of the FBI. If there is info from "Charlie's inner circle" that a foreign entity was involved, that claim would EASILY be publicly provable. It isn't and hasn't.

@StillMeMaybe @GhostOfNorman @thevivafrei One attains facts by investigating leads. And it wasn't his beliefs, but rather info that was passed onto him by those in Charlie's inner circle.

@GhostOfNorman @thevivafrei Leads are not facts. If the FBI/DOJ refuted his beliefs, that does not work in his favor. If what he is saying is true, then he should have facts readily available to back it up. If he doesn't have those facts, then yeah, he should keep quiet.

His job was to review the evidence and determine if there was a foreign nexus. He determined that there were leads that suggested a foreign nexus that should be further investigated. FBI/DOJ refused to further investigate them. IF what he is saying is true, would you want him to keep quiet, or say what he said?

I fully agree. Iran will emerge from this war weaker. The United States, our forces in the region, Israel, and our partners will ultimately be more secure. Iran’s nuclear and military capabilities, its long-held assumption that it could build forces to threaten the region without serious consequence, its ability to project power through missiles, drones, naval forces, and proxies, and its strategy of holding a massive portion of the world’s economy hostage through threats to global energy and shipping routes have all been fundamentally challenged by this conflict.
Atlantic Council@AtlanticCouncil

“No matter how this ends, Iran will emerge on the back end, weaker than it was a few weeks ago,” says @ACScowcroft’s @MatthewKroenig. On balance, “that is a good thing for the US and regional security,” he tells @CNN’s @thelauracoates.

Great. Anyone else who thinks President Trump doesn't know what he is doing, should resign too. In a month or two, the war with Iran will be done, Iran will no longer be a terror on the Middle East & Trump will be right again. Two people you never bet against, Elon & Trump.
Joe Kent@joekent16jan19

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.

@elonmusk How does this get 1.3 million views, 43k likes, and no community note. It is clearly false. He doesn't say these words. A community note is pending, but never approved on the post. Shit like this just adds to the anti-Israel & anti-Jewish hate that is causing massive brain rot.

BENNY GANTZ: “I’m not ruling out putting U.S. boots on the ground in Iran.” Gantz is the former ISRAELI Minster of Defense. Why the fuck are Israeli politicians making combat decisions regarding American troops?
