Hey mosquito researchers! I need some help. About 25% of my Culex pipiens larvae are developing "tumors" around their anal papillae. They mold into pupae and swim a bit wobbly, but otherwise seem normal. Has anyone encountered this before? Any insights on the cause? #entomology

Tried a new discussion format today in class with @michielveldhuis....we set up 4 conver-stations ....each had a different challenge to protected area expansion & students got time at each station to brainstorm solutions Worked so well and nice to focus on #conservationoptimism

I'm so excited to see this project come to life! MOZiMAC was an idea that popped up 1 week before lockdown 2020 😬 I put it away until earlier this year....we now have seed funding, a PhD, some promising pilot results and experiments running in two continents!! 🥰🤩 Stay tuned...
