A mapping journey into gaming. Having completed sessions on cybersecurity, AI and sustainability, I now intend to run a set of sessions to create useable maps of the field of gaming over a timeboxed 10 hours. Throughout history, art (symbols, rituals and heroes) has been used as a means of changing beliefs (both positively and negatively) within collectives and today, interactive video games are one of the most significant and potentially influential forms of art. This is part of what we will explore along with the general economic landscape of games. Our focus will be on where to invest in order to create positive outcomes for society. There will be five sessions of 2 hours each:- Monday 30th October, Tuesday 31st October, Wednesday 1st November, Monday 6th November, and Tuesday 7th November. Each session:- * runs from 1300 to 1500 UK time (GMT) which is 0900 - 1100 EDT (New York) 1400 - 1600 CET 1830 - 2030 UTC (New Delhi) * builds upon the last, so you need to be there for all * uses Discord, Miro, Zoom and OnlineWardleyMaps * governed by Chatham House rules, so unrecorded. @ChuckBlakeman I like and use continuums a lot in how I explain possibilities. In you continuum, is it a single container of life's multiple continuums? What's at the edges? Could you give an example? Thank you.

In my 68 years, I have observed a principle: Life exists on a continuum, and the continuum is fluid. The closer to either edge, the less fluid. Sometimes we choose to be near an edge. Other times it is chosen for us. Most of life is lived near the middle, requiring wise choices.
