@haibaneinsect Also IMAX ratio and other ratios are not more or less authentic to the artistic vision of the director. Good directors, esp the ones that prioritize imax, keep all aspect ratios in mind. The IMAX ratios is “better” yeah but it doesn’t suddenly erase the vision for other ratios

@haibaneinsect It’s unfortunate but idk I think having theaters that offers a viewing experience you cannot easily experience from the comfort of your home is a good thing for the movie theater industry
The real problem is accessibility to these theaters and the amount of them

IMAX having this aspect ratio exclusive to only be in their special little cinemas is anti-art. Make the fact the screen in the IMAX cinema is huge as the selling point, not that you can only see the full authentic vision of the director in that specific cinema.

If anything, her wording implies that she's more so upset that he was *forced* to get this hair cut because of his injuries, she's not going "damn that looks bad" and reading it like that is OOC and completely misses what the scene is telling us about ochako and her mental state

this scene really has nothing to do with whether she likes his hair or not, she's just trying to take the attention off of herself. Deku approaches her so she immediately starts worrying about him and what he's going through so they stop talking about her. She's deflecting.
