There was a man who survived both atomic bombs.
Tsutomu Yamaguchi was in Hiroshima for work on August 6, 1945.
He survived the bomb.
He traveled home to Nagasaki.
On August 9, the second bomb dropped.
He survived again.
He lived until 2010, age 93.
The only officially recognized survivor of both atomic bombs. 🕊️
