@SethAGonzalez I do that, but I have to do this for every folder, every time. I read about a registry hack that may or may not work, but that seems extreme.

@TabletopAudio If you Right Click on the column names, can you not modify what you want to see? You should be able to adjust and show those columns.

It's absolutely maddening that in 2026, audio professionals using Windows 11 can't set the default handling of audio files in explorer to be FILES and not MUSIC TAGS. I want columns to be: 'size', 'type', 'date modified'. You know, useful information for a working #composer.
