This is a huge day for those who have and will inevitably somehow face Alzheimer’s. This was the clinical trial that my mother was in. Although she doesn’t realize it, she (and my father who drove her to countless appointments) was a part of history. #endalz

New research found risk of contracting #COVID19 2X as high in those with dementia/3X as high in Blacks with dementia. These preliminary findings shed light on vulnerabilities associated with living with dementia & health disparities that must be addressed bit.ly/3p5RSgT

Congress has laid a strong foundation in the fight to #ENDALZ by providing historic increases for research at the @NIH @RodneyDavis please continue this commitment in FY21 with an additional $354M for Alzheimer’s and dementia research.
