You’re the one playing games now 😭. First it was Shakes & Les, now it’s Waffles, Gigi, and somehow you’ve left out Zee Nxumalo who’s also one of the biggest artists on that roster. And if we’re talking Grammy-level hits from multiple artists, no sane label is gonna ignore potential nominations and money just to push one person. At that point they’re pushing whoever gives them the best chance of winning and making noise globally. 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

I actually understand the point 😭. I’m not saying bias can’t exist. I’m saying people have already moved from “there could be bias” to “this is definitely affecting the other artists” without showing any evidence that’s happening. Those are two different arguments. One is a possibility, the other is a conclusion.

I don’t think you’re actually reading to understand bro, because what he’s saying is valid. If I’m managing five artists and one of them is my girlfriend, there’s a high chance I’m recommending her first whenever brands approach my agency. That doesn’t automatically mean the other artists won’t get opportunities, but there’s clearly some level of bias at play. Sure, I can balance things out and make sure everyone is eating, but realistically if more money is going to circulate it’s probably going to circulate in my household first. That’s just human nature. Pretending personal relationships don’t influence business decisions at all is being dishonest.

My only problem with this is that these people signed other artists and those artists have to compete with someone who’s romantically involved with decision makers. There’s a conflict of interest and he’s human Ofcos he’s gonna be biased and put his girl first.
