@MqpleFPS with how much they nerfed her i'd be surprised if i see any Ashes in collegiate until like game 6, Alter and Wraith are just so much better now i am also eagerly awaiting the r99 being good again, i'm indifferent towards the G7 but i'd rather have that over 3030 or CR

@SimplyAshton one issue is the popular package guns are often worse than a ground loot alternative. S22-23 R99 had no chance against mastiff/mozams during a shotgun meta. P2020s can lose against a Peacekeeper. Triple Take oftentimes gets beat by the 3030. some floor loot weapons are too good.

In Apex, there are 2 types of care package weapons: “Game changers” - Kraber, peacekeeper, Mastiff, Devotion etc. The massive power spike guns that are often win conditions. “Trapped guns” - p2020, r99, volt, triple take etc. The guns that were so popular that they got put into the care package but nobody really took them once they went in, even if they were technically stronger than what they already had. Do you think all care package guns should have the same power spike potential? Should the weaker weapons that go into the package just be left on the ground to diversify the meta further?

@Vozskii currently testing the new razer wolverine 8k obv it feels rly responsive but the tension is kinda high (my main roller is a 40% reduced ps5 bb) and i HATE how small xbox stick caps are, so im waiting for some slip on grips to come in and hopefully it should fix that issue

@this_is_midooo @jhumb_ @inykue @PlayApex that's fair but endgames are so chaotic that things like that are jus bound to happen. obv your playstyle is likely different from mine but in my experience the chances of getting heal cancelled by a caustic/bang aren't enough to warrant carrying big meds. i'm down to try it tho.

I went into a bunch of endgames where caustic or bang can easily interrupt the overflow heals, hence even if you behind cover, they just caus the overflow to stop. I'm not saying carry like 10 bats with overflow heals, but bats useful even if you have overflow heal that was my only point.

@this_is_midooo @jhumb_ @inykue @PlayApex - if anything overflow cells are better for the endgame bc you can pop one cell and repeek with like 50-75 shield in the time it takes to bat for 100 (swapping also exists) - i personally would rather hold extra ammo or nades bc i know i'll make good use of them in a fight

I didn't want to adress the first comment, because I assumed it was just a joke, but here is the point, why is highly suggested to have bats even if you have overflow AMP. - Overflow AMP can be interrupted by taking any dmg, means (for example: not ideal for outside of zone fights) - Endgame you cannot ONLY relay on popping cells when you need to get back into the battle quick - You can carry them and drop to your teammates if they running low on bats.
