@SteveDJacobs Interesting read about cherry picking. Agree with the concept of switches and levers.
Personally, I prefer high diversification. There is no fixed number of stocks in my portfolio. I have some core stocks for long term and the rest I rotate based on various criteria

Many retail traders start with the preconceived idea that 10-20 positions is "optimal"
However to answer the question "How many positions is optima?l" you need to first establish the "opportunity set" that is likely to occur per annum for your strategies.
Then using Monte Carlo simulations, Kelly criteria etc. you can determine the optimum allocation percentage for your strategies.

@SteveDJacobs Agreed. These are just stocks looking very good right now. One's portfolio has to be much diversified.
Typically, I swing trade these with a 5 day holding period.

Solid picks.
Personally, I would be mindful of running such a highly concentrated portfolio.
holding five stocks at say 20% allocation each will expose you to a -10 to -20% or more sudden loss over your trading career.
$FSLY would be a recent example but $HIMS and $NVDA (Deepseek) would be other examples.
Some traders are fine with these events and just take the 'L' immediately one while others freeze in concentrated portfolios leading to more losses.
