I never really talked about myself. NOW ITS TIME
I always posted about what I do, but never about who I am.
So here’s my story how I went from making 4-figures a month to almost nothing.
I was working in a call center.
Decent pay for Morocco. But the job felt empty. No growth. No skills. Just repeat-repeat-repeat. I needed purpose.
Then I saw a video about Axie Infinity.
15 days later, I made $270 as a scholar. That was life-changing. I went all-in on Web3.
Made money through play-to-earn. Turned $270 into $5K.
Then I started trading. 5–6% returns daily. Then I discovered futures. I loved the thrill went all-in.
And lost everything.
I just sat in front of my screen for over an hour, numb.
I had nothing. No rent, no food. Not even a cigarette.
Some days, I was literally just smoking and drinking water. I didn’t eat for days. Sometimes.
Why?
Because I was all in.
I believed in this shit. I knew I was gonna make it.
And I did. Eventually.
I jumped into NFTs.
Grinded Discords. Flipped WLs. Made $100s. But I realized just making money isn’t enough. I needed skills.
So I got my first job in Web3. $40/week as a mod.
Not much, but it was real. I kept working. Bounced from one project to another, learning how things ran. I observed everything.
Then I found Floppy Labs they taught me more than anyone.
I grew into a CM and even an advisor. That’s when the fire really lit up I wanted to build something myself.
I started Ostora DAO.
No funding. I needed an artist who'd join for the vision and get paid after mint. I got ghosted 14 times. Each time it broke me a little more until I CRIED .
Until I found the one. Better than all of them.
That’s when I knew fate is real & god wanted to test how bad i wanted it .
We launched. Only sold 10% of our mint. Still, I paid the artist. Kept going. And 1.5 months later, we sold out. Raised $15K.
After that Crypto dump , ME removing royalties and SBF situation and i had to find a solution i was thinking about rotating to an art studio since we had a good artist and art wasn't the best back then .
We pivoted to @OstoraStudio design services .
No money, so I marketed like Nike used to offered free designs to creators. That gave us reach, trust, exposure. And it worked.
Soon, we were working with NFT projects across the space.
Then came our biggest client: Neversea Festival the 2nd biggest seaside fest in Europe. Lil Uzi, Lil Pump, SteveAoki the whole lineup.
They asked us to do 3 months’ work in 1 month. We did it. We delivered.
And with that, we hit $15K–$20K/month.
But that was also the start of the downfall.
As Hermozi said: when things are going well, press harder.
I didn’t. I stopped marketing. I just managed.
Clients kept coming… until they didn’t.
Revenue dropped. My main artist left for medical reasons. The new one wasn’t as committed. I tried everything to revive it ambassador program, cold DMs, social media nothing stuck.
AI hit hard. Demand dropped. My last $2K? Gone.
I moved back to my parents’ place.
Rebuilt a setup. Quit drinking. (I already quit smoking 3 years ago.)
Tried again. But things were bleeding.
So I made the hardest decision of my life
I SHUT DOWN OSTORA STUDIO .
From making $15K a month… to now making $300–$400.
Mostly from flipping, saving, and reinvesting in protocols.
But I’m not quitting.
I went all-in on content creation & my skills .
Every day, I write, post, engage, and build my voice in Web3.
That’s one job.
And when it gets too heavy when I start feeling low I don’t force it.
I turn to gaming.
It’s what keeps me away from depression.
When I feel off, I game, I watch content. I breathe again. But I don’t just play. I stream too on Twitch, for a Moroccan audience. That’s job number two.
I’m building something again. From scratch.
I’ve done it before. I know what it takes now. I’m not chasing quick hits.
I’m building a brand. Something real.
That’s why I don’t yap about every project.
Only those I believe in. That’s who I am.
Right now, I’m applying to jobs even free ones just to get my foot in again. Community manager, content strategist, ambassador, mod, advisor anything that lets me build again.
I’m not ashamed to start over at 29 EVEN IF IT HURTS.
Even if my wallet’s empty. Even if I lost it all.
Because starting over is not failure
It’s faith in your future self.
And I believe in mine.
