The difference is that @JadensIV didn’t fire anyone for being gay. He shared religious views. The bulls did violate the law.

Private orgs can cut whoever they want, but let's not pretend this is just 'basketball reasons.' Ivey drops religious posts and suddenly he's unplayable after being a top-5 pick? NBA preaches inclusion until it clashes with certain beliefs. Talent shouldn't get blackballed for opinions—especially when the league shrugs at actual crimes or worse rhetoric from stars.
