Most traders chase dopamine. Few build discipline. The market doesn’t test your strategy — it tests your self-control. Every candle is a mirror of your emotions. Profit comes from silence. Execution comes from stillness. Control comes from awareness.

Things I do and don’t do, yet I’m still profitable: - I don’t journal my trades the traditional way - I trade on the 1-minute timeframe - I risk 2% on my prop firm account - I don’t wait for entry confirmation, I execute at my entry

My friend got laid off from Oracle. He called me in the morning… laughing. I was confused. Me: “Bro, what happened?” He: “I just got laid off 😂” I didn’t know what to say. Then he calmly added: “I will get 4 months salary for free. I’ll take a short break of 1-2 months, then go all in and land something better in the next 2 months.” That stuck with me. Same situation. Different mindset. Some panic. Some plan.

One thing I’ve learned about life is to always prioritize long-term gains over short-term profit. But for the sheer lack of foresight and integrity, this Abazz guy would have become one of the top suppliers of quality football jerseys to the crème de la crème of Nigeria. He already has the social media presence, and Osimhen gave him a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to present himself as a trustworthy businessperson, but he messed it up due to greed. Now, Tony Elumelu, whom Abazz recently met and who could have been one of his first elite customers had he pitched the business to him, will now see him as a dishonest person. And men like that avoid people who are going to stain their white like a plague. It is in moments like this that I respect men with integrity like Tunde Onakoya, who prioritized long-term gains and is now reaping the benefits by selling his chessboards at a premium and dining with influential and powerful people across the world. If Tunde had been dishonest from his early days, no person of value would have related with him or allowed him into their homes. I hope everyone learns a lesson on how greed and lack of foresight can stop you from achieving the greatness you’re destined to achieve.

UPDATE ABOUT THE JERSEY SITUATION. Earlier today, Abazz sent out 10 jerseys across different locations. Ilorin, Ogun, Lagos, Abuja, and Aba. So far, two recipients in Lagos have received theirs and reached out to me with concerns about the quality of the jerseys. At first, I didn’t believe it, but after seeing the videos, I understood why they felt that way. You just have to see the pictures and videos too. I immediately contacted Abazz to raise this, and he explained that what was sent was the “player’s version.” However, in one of the conversations I saw, a recipient requested to return the jersey, and Abazz responded by asking him to keep it while promising to send another jersey of his choice. Any club. Thankfully, others are yet to receive theirs, so this can still be properly addressed before more deliveries are completed. At this point, with more than one person reporting the same issue, it’s important to take it seriously and not treat it as a mistake. For me, this is not about dragging anyone or making noise over jerseys. It’s about integrity. It’s about trust. It’s about doing things the right way, especially when people are involved. I will continue to follow up on this to ensure that everyone who was promised a jersey gets something they are genuinely happy with. We all deserve fairness. Thank you for your patience and continued support, I’ll keep everyone updated.

The best part of BLOCKING for me is when someone comments or Quotes something nasty. I don’t block immediately. I wait for his comments or quote to gather other haters then i start blocking. I block everyone then finally block the originator who is the bastard. IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY 🤣

If you believe one trade can change your life, then your risk is already too big. That mindset is not trading. That is desperation. A real trader does not treat a single position like a miracle ticket. A real trader knows one trade is just one outcome inside a long series of outcomes. You do not build a life from one entry. You build it from repeated good decisions, controlled risk, and staying in the game long enough for your edge to play out. The moment one trade starts to feel like a do-or-die, you are no longer thinking clearly. You are gambling with pressure on your chest. The market does not owe you a life-changing win in one day. In fact, that kind of thinking is what ruins many traders. They increase the lot size too fast. They force setups that are not clean. They hold losing trades longer because they “need” that trade to work. They stop respecting their stop loss. They start trading from emotion, not from structure. And once emotion takes over, discipline disappears. That is how one bad trade becomes a damaged account, a damaged mind, and sometimes a damaged life outside trading, too. Big dreams are fine, but they must rest on small, controlled actions. A single trade cannot change your life, because building wealth is usually a step-by-step process. One clean trade can help you. One strong month can move you forward. One great year can change your level. But it is the process that changes your life, not one click on the chart. The traders who last are the ones who think in probabilities. They know some trades will win and some will lose. Their focus is not on hitting one giant home run. Their focus is on protecting capital, managing downside, and stacking good trades over time. That is how confidence becomes real. That is how growth becomes stable. That is how trading starts to pay like a profession. So when you hear someone talk like one trade will change everything, slow down and check the mindset behind it. Ask yourself why one trade needs to do so much heavy lifting. Is the account too small? Is the pressure too high? Is the person chasing losses? Or trying to escape their current life too quickly? These are the questions serious traders ask themselves. Because once you understand that no single trade should carry your future, you start trading better. You become calmer. You wait more. You size properly. You respect risk. And from there, your life can actually change, not because of one trade, but because of the discipline you built through hundreds of them.
