To all the people I haven’t had a chance to add to the WhatsApp for the cbb, u were lucky. At one point I was up 47 bets (all one bet, bets) and then in the last 7 weeks I completely fell apart and gave almost all of it back. Had tiny resurgence in the last week, though.

I thought about this guy today. He came and played by himself. Was super chill. And he got up and down from this bunker at the 6th green. Only time I've seen that happen in 6 seasons (a few players have gotten out in one try, but missed the putt). Mostly folks just end up taking pics and videos of their efforts. @nickdaschel College athletics are about the fans, too. There are people in Corvallis who have bled orange and black for 50, 60, 70 years. Their investment, whether emotional, financial, time is a real thing. More than one entity can have a meaningful stake in what's going on.

You're mostly right. But it's hard to discount how often colleges ask fans to donate for facilities and NIL and annual seat rights. It never ends. The frustration of fans who donate thousands only to see the program crumble is justified.
