I respect fairness, pragmatic politics, fiscal conservatism and economic common sense thru which govt can maintain social programs.

@ExnerPirot Whatever. Approve the west coast pipeline and the get the KXL going but no subsidies. I am not even sure about CCUS. We have bigger fish to dry right now. The corruption and grievance politics in Alberta needs to stop.

BNN Martin Cobb: $CSU Constellation Software Ignore the noise. They do software for Marina's & Golf courses etc. I struggle to find anything more compelling in Canada long term than Constellation Software. Short term, not sure.

"According to Nanos Research, 71 per cent of Kingston residents want the statue of Sir John A. Macdonald returned to its original place in City Park. That is not a divided result. It is a decisive majority calling for a correction."

The Standing Committee on Environment and Sustainable Development in Ottawa is currently studying the impact of the industrial carbon tax. And who was invited to testify today? The Canadian Climate Institute—arguably one of the most influential advocates of carbon pricing in the country, with strong ties to former Minister and activist Steven Guilbeault. Not exactly the most balanced choice if the goal is an objective assessment.

Enbridge is excited to export more Canadian Crude from the Gulf... Come on Canada Are we seriously going to sell Oil cheaper to the U.S. only to have them export more... Rather than just build more pipelines and export it ourselves and make all the money?

I can't imagine anything more tone deaf to the average Cuban than a bizarro lefty dance party in Havana while the lights were out everywhere else. The whole vibe makes Marie Antoinette look like a populist.

I wasn’t alive 90 years ago, but everything I’ve leaned about what led up to the Holocaust, history appears to be repeating itself. Jew hatred is coming out of the closet and becoming more normalized. Business are refusing to serve Jews. People are calling for the boycotts of Jewish businesses. Jews are being harassed and intimated openly on the streets of where they live. Companies are refusing to hire Jews. Jews are being attacked on university campuses. College programs are limiting the number of Jews they’ll accept. Police are refusing to protect Jews. Citizens are being riled up and convinced that Jews are evil and less than human. Homes of Jewish politicians are being targeted. Jewish businesses, homes and vehicles are being vandalized. People are falsely blaming Jews for events that occur. This evil is not new. It’s the same evil that sprung up in the 1930s. Hitler was the front man then, but Radical Islam was there in the background as well. Now Radical Islam has taken the front seat in their attempt to ethnically cleanse the Jews. This time the enemy is not the government and army of a single country, but an ideology that has been simmering for 1400 years and has at least 200M members. What the world is seeing right now is not new. But it does look different. It will take different strategies to defeat it. In some cases strategies that have never been seen before in modern times, especially in the West. If this ideology were ever to be successful with this initial objective, they’d then start coming for everyone else. If we stand a chance to survive this existential threat, the world has to fight it together. Because if we can’t do that, this might be the beginning of the end.

Our legal system allows small groups of activists to delay and raise costs of projects that have been duly reviewed and approved by regulatory authorities. I don’t believe it’s in the public interest. Court grants interim injunction pausing Rossland magnesium mine construction cbc.ca/news/canada/br…

Speaking of the 1930s Dust Bowl… many all-time US heat records were set during that time. It’s important to understand that the Dust Bowl was - in large part - a manmade phenomenon. So when people claim “man can’t change the climate” the Dust Bowl flies in the face of that claim. If you have genuine interest in the history, how it happened etc… watch this 5-minute video I did a few years ago. I interviewed a Plain States historian and a climate scientist who offered some great perspective. cbsnews.com/amp/news/dust-…
Extreme Temperatures Around The World@extremetemps

More exceptional heat pulses from West to East are expected next week with widespread 100s again in the desert areas and parts of the Central States Not even the Dust Bowl heat waves or anything else ever seen so far can compare to this: All climatologists are baffled.

Without US-Israeli leadership, all of Europe would have ended up living under the threat of Iranian nuclear annihilation, armed with long range ballistic missiles. A threat controlled by jihadi fundamentalists who believe it is their religious obligation to accelerate the apocalypse. Like Europe’s elites in the face of Hitler’s massive military expansion in the 1930s, today’s appeasers would continue to look the other way and mumble about diplomacy until it’s too late. Europe failed to protect its Jews from Hitler. But now the descendants of the Jews who survived Hitler are protecting Europe. #AmYisraelChai
Brett McGurk@brett_mcgurk

Speaks for itself: Feb. 25, 2026: “We are not developing long-range missiles… we have limited the range below 2,000 kilometers” — Iran’s FM Araghchi (IRNA). March 20, 2026: Iran fires missiles at Diego Garcia—ranging 4,000 kilometers (WSJ). ⬇️
