Traders who are consistently successful at beating intraday trailing drawdowns - please drop your best advice here. I’ve tried using large size on red folder news. Normal size, normal trade style (which includes manually trailing my stop as the trade goes into profit). Sizing down to 1-2 mnq and leaving a normal stop. Nothing has worked for me. I trade NQ exclusively from 9:30-11am so I’m thinking maybe it’s too volatile an instrument at too volatile a time of day. But I see y’all NQ traders doing it! HELP ME!

I scalp too. Looking for 5-10 point ranges. If current bias is bullish, I will enter long. I start with 1 micro to test the range, once I see a good 10 point range of top and bottom. I’ll add 10 micros at the bottom of the that 10 point range and anticipate for a scalp up. I’ll take profit at $50-$100 every scalp. Daily goal of 500 per day. One more thing, if your 1 micro suddenly gets knifed, take the loss at -$50 and reassess the 10 point range or bias. Still trying to get 1% better every day.

Yes, you can easily make $200 with 5 MNQ’s scalping 2-3 trades and be done before 10am NY session. You can be done in less than 30 mins. My next test would be to copy trade 5 funded accounts. If you can master 1 account and make 200 a day in less than 30 mins, scalability with copy trading is where the magic happens. Same effort, same strategy. Your 200 a day becomes 1000 a day. Sounds easy but 90% fail because most want to make more than 200 a day, gets greedy, over trade, revenge trade, go full tilt, and blow up.

200 bucks a day. Changes a lot of peoples lives. And is reasonable and achievable. Would 50k a year change your life. Help you pay a lot of bills? These gurus hurt more then they help
