@bobbygameday Totally disagree. I love that WVU plays schools 2 or 3 time zones away with alums I will never meet in person and our players I don’t even bother to learn the names of since they aren’t in Morgantown long enough for me to bother.

Conference realignment is the worst thing that happened to college sports in the past 10 years, but the transfer portal is a close second. God what a disaster.

If you only know Tropicana Field as a joke, you never really knew it at all. The roof, the catwalks, and the quirks are all easy jabs. But after this past year, I think a lot more people finally understood what Rays fans have known for a long time: it may not have been glamorous, but it took care of this team. And it took care of us, too. Seeing the roof torn apart revealed so much more than a baseball field underneath. It showed what had been taken away, the part that made it feel safe, familiar, and ours. Maybe that’s why so many of us loved it exactly as it was. It’s not perfect, but it’s ours. And while I’m excited for the future, after having to live without it, I think a lot of us are going back with a deeper appreciation for what she means to us. Thank you to everyone who brought her back, and then some. See you tomorrow, sweet dome. #RaysUp

With a playoff spot clinched, we turn our attention to finishing as high as possible. I challenge us to focus less on matchups and more on staying healthy and playing good hockey. The east is a gauntlet and every team poses a threat. Any and every series will be a challenge.

@DTonPirates I think that is something the Pirates have to do in the draft. Takes risks on high potential players. The Davis concept (I get it, save money, draft slot, etc) as a 'safe' pick isn't going to get it done in a small market. No big ticket FAs.

@Buddy_McGuy @WilliamsonNFL I live in the Tampa area and went to the Thu night game when ATL was here. He's special. Stuff that maybe doesn't really show on tv - making guys miss in the hole, etc. It was something else. Worth the price of admission.

No issues with how they played last night. Sometimes you get the looks and lose. Dobes made some big saves and the power play went 0-for-4 for a third straight game. The top 4 teams in the Atlantic are separated by 6 points. That's the difference between winning the division and being a wild card team. 0 Eastern Conference teams playing tonight means we get the night off, but be ready. Thursday is another big one.

@bobbygameday and was curiously okay for Team USA in the World Baseball Classic. There's a reason I suppose a team already gave up on him. Stuff is there, MLB games it doesn't show.

I missed the end of the Rays game and assumed it was over anyway after the Cardinals scored in the bottom of the 8th. Then just checked back on things and realized Griffin Jax failed to deliver yet again. Has not a done single useful thing since he's been here.

@BarkingCarnival I had tickets but couldn't go. A friend who has never been to a match went in my place. I likely ended a Team USA potential fan in one afternoon.
