I love the Calgary Expo. Not just because I’m kind of a nerd, but because it reminds me that everyone belongs in Alberta.
No matter what you look like, where you come from, how you worship, who you love, or which fandom you’re part of — you belong. You’re part of a community that wants you to be awesome.
And I’ll just say this… all those years I was Grand Marshal of the Parade of Wonders, we never had a weather delay. Just saying.
