I'm all for as many launch facilities as a country can set up, but getting equatorial orbits from Nova Scotia will be interesting. Also... if they want to compete with SpaceX, what cheap, reliable, reusable launcher are they planning on using?

Canada just signed a $200 million deal for a new spaceport in Nova Scotia 👀 The 10-year agreement aims to give Canada its own launch site so Canada doesn’t have to rely on SpaceX and other foreign rockets to get satellites into orbit. The deal will support building independent launch capability on Canadian soil for satellites and defence needs. It will still take years before it’s fully running.

Afroman won his case. A couple lessons here, one being if you want to be corrupt and you get caught on a privately owned camera, you're SOL. That footage can be used to mock you mercilessly. Another lesson: the Streisand Effect is a real thing.
