A special Suggestion to save the precious time of the Hon’ble Courts in Matrimonial dispute cases… Recently, I came across a social-media post stating that the Supreme Court remarked: ——“a wife is not a maid who must keep cooking in the husband’s house; the husband should also help with household chores.” It immediately triggered a practical question in my mind… Instead of courts getting dragged into every small domestic argument — from “who cooked yesterday” to “who didn’t switch off the fan” — why don’t we simply file a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) and request the Supreme Court to create an official rulebook? Yes, “Do’s & Don’ts Manual for Husbands and Wives”, issued directly by the Apex Court. So that whenever a matrimonial dispute reaches court, both spouses don’t have to narrate dramatic emotional stories, childhood traumas, neighbour gossip, and WhatsApp screenshots… They can simply walk in confidently holding their individual lists of Don’ts, ready to prove how the other partner violated Chapter 3, Section 7: Laundry Responsibilities, or Chapter 5, Clause 4: Kitchen Misconduct. It will be like a domestic version of the Indian Penal Code — but exclusively for marriage! Imagine the time it will save: •Judges won’t have to listen to four-hour arguments about who didn’t make tea. •Lawyers won’t need to “creatively interpret” kitchen politics. •Couples won’t pretend their personal misunderstandings are national emergencies. Instead, the court staff can simply check the complaint, flip to the relevant section of the Supreme Court’s Marriage Manual, and declare: “Ah yes, this falls under Don’t No. 14 — Failing to help with household chores. Next case, please!” It will be efficient, systematic, and honestly… much more entertaining than the current chaos of matrimonial litigation. After all, if society expects courts to define the exact role of a husband and wife inside their own homes, then we might as well make it official, documented, and available on the Supreme Court website for download! 🤔😂

The High Court again nailed it: 👊 Not every 498A case = “moral turpitude.” Stop treating every accused man as automatically guilty. Civil consequences like jobs, promotions, education cannot be destroyed just because someone filed 498A. “What cannot be accepted, however, is any general rule that every offence under Section 498-A IPC, by its very nature, must automatically be translated into an offence involving moral turpitude for the purpose of civil consequences such as employment, promotion or higher education,” the Court added. About time this was said loud and clear. 👏🔥

Today I met a warrior judge in court. He was scolding a woman and her advocate for filing a fake case against an innocent man. The conversation went like this: Judge: Why did you file fake case against this man? Woman: My lord… I’m sorry. Judge: Sorry? Do you even understand what you have done? An innocent man and his entire family have been dragged into years of stress, humiliation, and litigation. Woman: I didn’t realize it would go this far. Judge: That is exactly the problem. People file allegations casually, but innocent families pay the price for years. Courts are not meant to be used as tools for harassment. I am initiating perjury proceedings against you and contempt against the lawyer who assisted in filing this false case. (Everyone was stunned by what just happened.)
