Just imagine if marriage could have been successful, and she commits suicide because of forced marriage. This case would have turned into a dowry harassment case. Twisha case we all know.. We have thousands of such cases where parents force daughters to marry and when something wrong happen they walk free.

Parents if Siya who are also hands in glove in the crime are roaming free. There are influential people &would certainly hamper the investigations. Moreover it’s clear that Siya was forced for marriage. So Cause of crime is also indicating their involvement. Why no arrests?

I would lose faith in the Indian courts if, in a few months, Siya Goyal does not get bail and all the blame is not placed on her partner in crime, as he “provoked” her.

Unlike the model she runs, where employed advocates are used to generate revenue, many others work purely for the cause. At least organizations like SIFF do not rely on paid counsellors. They work for the cause, not for money. And yes, sometimes they are harsh with members. Because members can also be part of the problem—expecting spoon-feeding, demanding help at every step, while contributing nothing to the movement or the cause itself.
