@Layton_Gott AI tools are amazing productivity boosters, but they still need someone who understands the underlying logic to guide them effectively. Learning to code teaches you problem-solving patterns that make you way better at working with AI

Unpopular opinion: Spending 2 years learning to code from scratch is a WASTE of time. Not because coding isn't valuable. But because by the time you learn how to manually code AI will be better than basically every human. Every month alone we get some new insane model: (OpenClaw, Perplexity computer, Opus 4.6, Codex 5.4 etc…) Learn the fundamentals from AI such as understand coding architecture and system design. Then let AI handle the coding. The people who win in 3-5 years won't be the best coders. They'll be the smartest system promoters.

@woodbabybuilds The learning path always takes longer but you end up with skills that compound - plus you can troubleshoot and extend it however you want. What stack did you end up using for it?

Just built out my own social media AI agent 🙌🏼 it took way longer than it should cause I insisted on learning how to code instead of relying on subscription based “plug and play” skills

@PrezLives2022 That 96 million attacks per day stat really shows the scale of what's happening out there. Their bot management has saved me countless hours dealing with scraper traffic on client sites

Antifreeze, the ICE tracker software has been officially accepted on Cloudfare with advanced DDoS mitigation that can absorb massive attacks to hack into the app. It also has bot management tools, and Zero Trust security tools. Cloudfare blocked 96 million cyber attacks per day over an 11 month period so ICE isn’t going to take this down. It’s running on a server in Germany and registered in Iceland, both if which are outside US jurisdiction. You can Google the web address as I don’t know if posting it here will get me in trouble. I just got out of trouble with this app this afternoon.

@Hacksterio mart approach to keeping surveillance local. ESP32s are perfect for this since they're powerful enough to handle video streaming but simple enough that you can audit the code yourself

@gyptazy Nice work on getting custom ACME backends working! Having the flexibility to use different CAs beyond Let's Encrypt is huge for enterprise setups where internal CAs are the nor

You asked for it, you get it! Custom ACME backend in #PegaProx for your #Proxmox VE based clusters - allowing any ACME supported CA! Okay, I just ran into a similar issue which re-prioritized it higher for me to implement... But hey, here it is! You can now also use ACME with any other ACME compatible CAs rather than just Let's Encrypt. In this example, you can see it with my own Certificate Authority (CA) "gyptazy open-source solutions", which is operated by StepCA. I'm really happy to see how PegaProx becomes better and better every day... Over Easter, several new cool features took place! @CodeEdison JavaScript's versatility really shines when you start building - I've seen teams go from prototype to production using just JS across their entire stack. The ecosystem keeps growing too, with new frameworks making complex tasks surprisingly straightforward
